When We Are Closed

For only urgent needs during these hours please phone the usual surgery number and follow the instructions.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

111 is an NHS non-emergency number where you can call to speak to a highly trained adviser who is supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.  NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

A&E and 999 is only to be used if you are seriously ill and need emergency care fast, including heavy bleeding, serious broken bones, choking, chest pain, difficulty breathing, blacking out or seizures.
